Each regulator publishes its register on a different cadence — the retirement home registry refreshes nightly, while a land surveyor's status changes maybe once a year. The freshness window is how often we re-confirm a license with that specific body. When a verification passes its window, the stamp on the provider profile flips from Fresh to Recheck overdue until we re-confirm at the source.
